He was sitting on his back porch staring off into the blackness of the night observing ever morphing pattern of the smoke as it emerged from his lips. He saw a lanky shadow pass just beyond the illumination of the dusk to dawn lights, he watched silently as Poncho nosed through the compost pile at the edge of the yard. ThorTHOR He stood outside of his stony abode, he had hewn it from the living rock of the mountain centuries before, carved out a dwelling in what was now the last small patch of wood that remained out of, great forest of the north. The greed of man had ravaged all the rest leaving only this scrap, now when he looked out from his mountain side he could see the smog covered buildings, the trademark of the human race. For a long time he stood, his slight, frail frame in the doorway, surveying the horizon noting any changes in the skyline no matter how subtle, he then took a walk through the forest, gone these days were the feeling of lifThor


Trailer Part IIThunder Storms I often think back to those days and to Julie, I still see her from time to time, we talk laugh and occasionally would spend a night together. Somehow though we always know it has to end. We dated for some time following that night at the trailer. When it was summer we would often go down to the Shawnee and spend the day hiking among the boulders, then fly down Hwy 37 with the tops out of my 78 vett. Then spend nights wrapped in each others arms, or out at a party playfully antagonizing one another.
